Dr. Leonard Pitts, Jr. is an award-winning journalist, author, radio producer and educator with over 40 years of experience. He was the writer and executive producer of Who We Are: The Life and Times of Black America, an award-winning 1988 radio documentary. In 2004, Pitts was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in commentary. Pitts holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern California, which he entered at the age of 15.
Keith L. Pitts is the director of the culinary and food outreach ministry for historic Ward African Methodist Episcopal Church in Los Angeles. Pitts was an executive producer and voice actor on the syndicated radio documentary, Who We Are: The Life and Times of Black America. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in information technology and a Master’s Degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and is a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Alpha Pi.
Michelle Jones is an associate pastor of Imago Dei Community Church in Portland, a position she also held at New Song Church in Orange County, California. Jones was an executive producer and a narrator of Who We Are: The Life and Times of Black America. She is also an Emmy-nominated and NAACP Image Award-winning television writer and producer. Jones holds Bachelor’s Degrees in communications and journalism from the University of Southern California.
